ADHD-Friendly

C-Training Innovation Centre – ADHD-Friendly Learning Environment

At our centre, we believe education should be accessible and supportive for everyone. That’s why we have created an environment that truly supports people with ADHD and other disabilities – both in classroom training and online courses.

🔹 Personalised approach – everyone learns at their own pace, and our trainers adapt their methods to fit your needs.
🔹 ADHD-trained trainers – our staff are specially trained to understand ADHD and use proven strategies to make learning easier.
🔹 Focus-friendly materials – shorter modules, clear infographics, video recordings, and hands-on practice.
🔹 Breaks and flexibility – our courses are structured to allow time for rest and recovery.
🔹 Quiet space available – we provide a calm area with noise-cancelling headphones for when you need a moment to recharge.
🔹 Support from people who truly understand – some of our trainers have an ADHD diagnosis themselves, so they know what effective learning really looks like.
🔹 Clear communication – simple instructions, clear goals, step-by-step guidance.
🔹 Access to Work application support – we help our learners prepare their application for the UK Government’s Access to Work scheme.

What is Access to Work?
It is a government-funded scheme run by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) that provides financial support for people with disabilities or long-term health conditions.

Access to Work can cover, for example:

  • specialist equipment and software – such as a computer, monitor, ergonomic desk and chair, noise-cancelling headphones, or focus-supporting software,

  • transport – to and from work or training,

  • support workers – such as job coaches, interpreters, or assistants,

  • training for employers and colleagues on how best to support people with ADHD.

At C-Training Innovation Centre, we guide you step by step through the application process and explain all the funding options available to you.

Q&A

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to join your courses?
No – our courses are open to everyone. A diagnosis is not required to learn in an ADHD-friendly environment. For Access to Work applications, medical documentation or a diagnosis may help, but it’s not always necessary.

How long does it take to get Access to Work support?
It usually takes a few weeks to a few months, depending on application volumes. We help you prepare your application, which makes the process smoother and faster.

What exactly can Access to Work fund?
It can cover equipment such as a computer, monitor, ergonomic desk and chair, noise-cancelling headphones, specialist software, as well as transport, job coaches, or support workers.

Can self-employed people apply for Access to Work?
Yes – self-employed individuals are eligible for support as well.

What if I don’t get funding?
Our trainers will still provide all the necessary adjustments during your course – ADHD-friendly materials, regular breaks, a quiet space, and personalised learning support.
